Achievements
Mar Gregorios College of Law, Thiruvananthapuram has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement in Net Zero Emissions in recognition of its outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability. The certification acknowledges the successful achievement of Net Zero Emissions as of 5 March 2025, through the effective implementation of energy efficiency measures, adoption of renewable energy sources, minimization of waste, and eco-friendly waste management practices.
The assessment was conducted in accordance with IPCC guidelines, covering Scope 1 (Direct Emissions) and Scope 2 (Indirect Emissions from Purchased Energy), following the methodology developed under the “Net Zero Carbon Kerala through the People” campaign of the Haritha Kerala Mission, Government of Kerala.
This achievement reflects the institution’s proactive role in natural carbon removal through vegetation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable campus operations at its primary campus in Mar Ivanios Vidyanagar, Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram. The recognition stands as a testament to the college’s dedication to environmental responsibility and climate action.
NDLI Club Registration
Mar Gregorios College of Law is proudly registered as an NDLI Club under the National Digital Library of India (NDLI), an initiative of the Ministry of Education and IIT Kharagpur. Our institutional membership is valid from 13 May 2024 to 13 May 2025. Through this collaboration, our students and faculty gain access to a vast digital repository of academic resources, fostering a culture of continuous learning, sharing, and growth
Within a short span of 5 years our college has bagged the prestigious SILF-MILAT Institutional Excellence Award 2017. The Award is instituted by the SILF-MILAT (Society of Indian Law Firms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training) to identify the best law teaching institution in the country. Our college is the first college in Kerala and eighth in the country to get the award. His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, the Manager of the College, along with Prof. Dr. K. Vikraman Nair, Academic Advisor of the college recieved the award from the Chief Justice of India on 23rd November 2017 in the presence of jury members of the award committe.
