NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The National Service Scheme (NSS) seeks to instill a sense of social responsibility in young people with the ultimate goal of fostering personality development through community service. It is a student-centered programme and it is complementary to education. It inculcates the spirit of voluntary work among students and teachers through sustained community interaction. Youth can engage in real-world social activities through NSS and thereafter evolve into responsible citizens of India. The motto of NSS, "Not Me, But You," embodies democratic living and maintains the necessity for selfless service, appreciation of others' viewpoints, and consideration for other people. Our college's NSS unit strives to live up to this motto in all of its endeavors.
