Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship has organized the Training Program titled ‘Networking is Networth’ on 3rd October 2024 at MGCL Seminar Hall from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm. The programme was delivered by Mr. Thomas George, the leading Corporate Trainer, and Business Process Simplification Consultant. He has more that 31 years of experience in the service industry with various international airlines. Mr.Thomas George is Soft Skills trainer, an IATA Certified Trainer and an accomplished Toast Master and a columnist. He is passionate about spreading awareness of the perils of climate change in the society.
The focus of the training programme on Networking is Networth was to create an awareness on the relevance of networking in the career sphere and to enhance the networking skills of law students of MGCL. The session started with Time management activity which led into Networking after a brief introduction on the importance of communication and presentation skills. The session also gave a briefing on Grooming and Etiquette and Interview skills. The programme was attended by 120 students from third semester BBA LLB and BCOM LLB of MGCL. The welcome address was delivered by Rev. Adv.Joseph Venmanath, Director, MGCL. The training session was informative, interesting and interactive in nature. The session was well received by the faculty and students. Director presented a memento to the Trainer as a token of gratitude on behalf of the MGCL family. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.Leeba Babu, Associate Professor and Faculty coordinator of the Centre for Skill development & entrepreneurship. Mrs. Vrinthu J.P. and Mr.John P.D., Assistant Professors and Faculty coordinators of the Centre also attended and coordinated the programme. Masters of the ceremony were Mr. Adnan Afsal and Ms.Firdous A, Fifth BBA LLB.
